We've had a slight setback today. Yesterday afternoon he had the drain taken out of the bottom of the wound. This morning after they had finished moving him around washing him it started leaking quite badly. By 2pm his back and bed were wet through. He was thinking if he felt ok he might try and get into this chair but that went by the wayside pretty quickly.
They called for a Doctor to come and look at it and from then we've been waiting five hours for them to come back to put a couple more stitches in it. Five hours!!
It's just after 7pm and they've now taken him down to theatre to put them in under local anesthetic.
He's not been feeling so great today, a lot of pain and because he's had the morphine pump taken away he's feeling it a lot more. Hopefully he'll keep picking up tomorrow.
